During winter this is one of the best hikes possible in the park, with the views of the valley normally reserved for hikes closed at this time of year. Starting at Lower Yosemite Fall you walk up to Upper Yosemite Fall and then on to Yosemite Point
The trail begins steep and doesn't really hold back until the top. With many switchbacks you may be wondering why you are putting yourself through this torture but once you reach your destination all will be revealed.
At the top are some steep drops, including right off the edge of Yosemite Fall so be sure to take care and stay on the trail.
The Yosemite Point trailhead is located at the the Yosemite Falls Trailhead, Valley shuttle stop 7.
To cut this route down a little by only hiking up to Upper Yosemite Fall and back.
