What is ‘POWER HOUR’
‘Power Hour’ is a drinking game where you drink a shot of beer every minute for an hour…so that’s 60 shots in total. Sounds easy…but it really isn’t! It’s like centurion, which is 100 shots in 100 minutes.

Why The Song?
There is a different song played for every minute of power hour, and it tells you to when to drink!
This is a collection of some of my favourite songs (quiet a few British bands) with a few classics mixed in. This is my first ever attempt with playing about with audio editors. Just messing about really – so the mixing is a pretty rubbish! (really hard to do a song justice by carving it up into a minute clip! ) There’s also some sound clips in there from films etc to mix things up a little.

Great mix man. This is bar none the best Power Hour playlist out there right now. I’ve played through it several times and really enjoy it. The only song I would recommend replacing is “Superman” by Five for Fighting. If you do another mix, could you add some more classic rock like Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Who, Aerosmith, Van Halen, and also Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, and maybe some country or metal for a little more variety.

Just wanted to drop some major kudos to yourself about the power hour mp3 you made. I stumbled across it serendipitously when randomly browsing torrentspy.com (yeah, remember that?) while at university and so far have used your mp3 to complete around 5 power hours with my mates. Note that this has taken place at my then uni of leicester, in my home town in bedfordshire and a boozed up weekend in london. Everyone loved it and everytime I’ve used it I’ve been planning on informing the creator of the many good times we’ve had when using it. The songs are great, the airplane and family guy quotes are awesome, and most importantly, the excuse of getting people drunk while having fun is brilliant. So thanks again. I’m actually planning on doing my next power hour tomorrow at a bar of my home town with your mp3 blaring out of my mobile chav-style with a bunch of mates. Cheers again dude.
I’m an American College student, actually graduated today, and I’ve been drinking to power hours since 2005. This is by far the single greatest non-themed playlist I have drank too, and I’ve made 3 of my own power hour playlists. I’m a bit timid about sharing my playlists on bittorrent but I’d love to share my television theme song playlist. It’s got everything from Fraggle Rock to Power Rangers to Duck Tales. It doesn’t sound to intelligent sober, but once you get drunk it makes for quite a bit of laughter.
Well since you are gonna get a bit woozy why don’t you put in Land of Confusion by Genesis or Disturbed (I personally prefer disturbed but it’s your mix man) about halfway through?
